| The Hotel-Pension Villa Basileia is a stylish hotel located within the spa centre of Karlovy Vary - Karlsbad. It is situated on the bank of the river Teplá in a calm environment close to the Císarské lázne spas and the world-renowned hotels Carlsbad Plaza and Grandhotel Pupp. The family hotel Villa Basileia had originated from the reconstruction of a summerhouse formerly belonging to the countess von Schaumburg Lippe, which came to love Karlovy Vary in the nineteenth century. She had her villa built in a New Romanesque style, inside the beautiful valley of the Teplá river, which is the gateway into the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. During the reconstruction of the Villa Basileia into a family hotel, we have managed to preserve the original layout of the aristocratic mansion. |
