| Hotel Bishop's House está situado en el centro de la Municipal Histórica Protegida área de Praga - abajo del castillo de Praga en Lesser Town, solamente 60 metres del ponte de Carlos. En la foto de arriba se puede ver el edificio del hotel con la torre Mostecka al fondo - esta torre es roqueta del ponte de Carlos a la izquierda costa del río. Completa renovación del hotel terminó en el ano 1999. Actual forma del edificio el que se llama por su histórico origen "The Bishop's House", empiezo en el 1843, cuando la reconstrucción del edificio del siglo XVI. el que fue construida en el lugar de original de almunía de obispos terminó hasta 6 anos de trabajo. Durante de la época románica, en el fin del siglo XII., poderoso obispo principe Jindrich Bretislav tenía enorme alumnía construida como la residencía de obispos a la izquierda costa del río Ultava. Sus sucesores, obispos y arzobispos, por ejemplo Jan de Drazice (donde el nombre de la Drazicke plaza es derivado de) tenían abultada y reconstruida. El fuego en 1249, el que fue pegado por los rebeldes contra el rey Wenceslao I., según el cronista Kosmas, fue el razón para extenso renovación de la residencía. En el 1419 la residencía fue saqueado y totalmente destruido por fuego. Esto fue el fin de la residencía y sus murallas fueron usado para la reconstrucción de las casas de burguesía de Praga. |
