The Hotel First Republic is located in the centre of Prague, in a quiet street some 400 meters from the Wenceslas Square and within easy reach of the public transport. It has come into being by reconstruction of the first-republic house (built in 1925), has been awarded the star rating 4**** according to the standards of Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants and is equipped in the style of the "First Republic". (The First Republic is designation for Czechoslovakia in the period from its establishment in 1918 till the Munich Agreement in 1938; the next period till occupation of the remaining part of the republic is designated as the Second Republic. This terminology has been derived from France, where the republics are numbered from the French Revolution). We always want to offer something extra to our clients and therefore upon arrival each guest will be served the unique first-republic cake made by the secret family recipe of the hotel owner. This delicacy was tasted for instance by Dr. Frantisek Behounek or Maria Sk³odowska Curie and by other prominent personalities of the First Republic.

We offer comfortable accommodation in 30 double rooms and 12 apartments for 2-5 persons. All our rooms are equipped with en suite bathroom with shower and hair dryer, SAT TV with DVD, air-conditioning, minibar, WI-FI and cable internet connection available free of charge, direct dial telephone, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, fire and smoke detectors. Daily maid service to all rooms including fresh linens and towels.

The apartments consist of one bedroom with double bed and one living room with sofa bed and another pull-out couch and they are suitable for up to 5 persons. Apartments 102, 202, 302 and 402 have 50 square metres and are equipped with en suite bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer, large SAT TV with DVD, air-conditioning, minibar, WI-FI and cable internet connection available free of charge, direct dial telephone, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, fire and smoke detectors. Daily maid service to all rooms including fresh linens and towels.

Apartments 103, 203, 303 and 403 have 50 square metres and are equipped with en suite bathroom with shower and hair dryer, separate toilet, large SAT TV with DVD, air-conditioning, minibar, WI-FI and cable internet connection available free of charge, direct dial telephone, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, fire and smoke detectors. Daily maid service to all rooms including fresh linens and towels.

Deluxe Apartments 01

Deluxe apartments 101, 201, 301 and 401 have 60 square metres and are equipped with en suite bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer, large SAT TV with DVD, air-conditioning, minibar, WI-FI and cable internet connection available free of charge, direct dial telephone, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, fire and smoke detectors. Daily maid service to all rooms including fresh linens and towels.

Hotel services: 2 conference rooms (37 and 63 persons), catering services, beauty wellness, massages, babysitting and well-equipped children’s playroom, library and lobby bar.

Typically we don't charge any deposit, prepayment or booking fee, you can pay directly in the hotel by credit card or in cash.
